Website Critique
A website critique should include an overview of the organizations, how it is an example of an industrial or post-industrial society, and how the information or the nonprofit contribute to your understanding of the interchanges between social institutions.
Instructions:
This week, you get to have a bit more fun with your assignment. You need to locate 2 websites that are an example of a nonprofit organization in industrial or post-industrial society and provide a critique. Examples include an overview of the organization, how it is an example of what I’ve asked you to look for, and specifically, how does this nonprofit contribute to your understanding of the interchanges between social institutions?
What am I talking about? For example, if you were looking at the Economy in modern society and the specific exchange with Religion, Chuffed (https://chuffed.org/) would be a great choice. Two hundred years ago, Relief and Aid Societies ran through religious organizations and today we crowdfund for those same social issues through Chuffed. Think outside the box and try to come up with a creative example. Remember to include both websites in your critique and provide a link to each website.
