Yesterday she took the trip with seven senior citizens, eight people age 12 to 64, and nine children under 12. What was the total amount she needed to collect in fares?
3. During the 1998 major league baseball season, Mark McGwire of the St. Louis Cardinals hit 70 homeruns. Of these, 34 went to left field, 30 went to left center field, 13 went to center field, and 3 went to right center field. None went to right field. What fraction of his homeruns went to either left field or left center field? Answer the question, simplifying all fractions.
