When it comes to researching there are always some questions that needs to be and should be asked to come up with a solution. Many leaders should ask themselves some of these questions to try to help better themselves as well as make the workplace perform better-On a scale from 0-10, how would you rate yourself as a leader?

Introduction

This paper will present a research proposal on better leadership styles and employees’ commitment within the workplace. This seem to be the main important factor within a business organization. If the leadership style is poor than there is a big chance that the business will not perform the way, it should. There are some strong relations between leadership styles and employee’s commitment to an organization. A leader should have the type of style that is needed for the business. A good leader should have implementing plans and motivating people within the organization. When outlining the background of this research could be successful in fulfilling the best method.

Background Study

I have experience many different type of leadership styles within many workplaces. Not everyone is fit to become a leader. I think that different leadership style should be choosing according to the business. In a previously research Fry (2003) explain managerial style as the use of leading strategy to offer inspiring motive and to enhance the staff’s potential for growth and development.

Which in most cases I do believe that inspiring and motiving your employees could be a success for the workplace? Many have study different type of leadership style that could bring success within the organization. Better leadership style can really help lead the employees in many ways which can be help for the workplace.

It can also enhance efficiency of staff, cost reduction within the organization. Could also cause less stress to higher management. In most cases it is all in the type of leadership that is being using that why I think researching is good for this type of proposal. When you look back at history and the study that have been done about leadership it can really help you understand just how important this could be for many businesses.

Research Problem

Base on the background of leadership within an organization and for what I have experience there are many problems that can occur within the workplace. Even though there are many challenges when become a leader. Knowing the right leadership style to perform on the job will help the workplace perform better. When employees not motivated and there is poor leadership style the work environment can seem to be perform poorly. Employees have a low work performing status on the job. Poor performance can also cause the company money lost as well as a heigh employee turnover within the company.

Research Questions

1. On a scale from 0-10, how would you rate yourself as a leader?

2. Do you like setting up goals and targets?
3. What is your response to someone who questions your decision-making abilities?
4. In your opinion do you respond fairly to the issues in the team?
5. Are you open to suggestions from employees and co-workers?
6. Are you willing to take responsibility when a team member fails to deliver against expectations?
7. Do you feel employees should only take orders without asking any questions?
8. Do you personally think that a leader should be reasonable?
9. A leader must not hold any grudges or biases against anyone in the team. Do you agree with the statement?
10. Do you feel being correct is more important than being right?
11. Do you feel providing guidance without any pressure is a trait of a good leader?
12. Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
13. Is there anything that you would like to add?

Research Method

When using the quantitative method, it can help the problem through numeric data that can be easily understood to help improve the workplace. It is also important to determine the nature of the workplace to get a better idea of the type of leadership style you will want to use. Using a leadership method to engage with leaders is one of the key sources of new knowledge. Researching the different type of leadership style would also help. Many researchers will go with a bunch of literature of the subject leadership to study and examine.

Conclusion

Understanding and researching the different leadership style could help improve performance within the organization. Improve employee’s performance on the job. When employee is motivated and see a good leader, they seem to improve themselves.
